Super easy

Loving it so far. As a 60 plus woman, I thought I’d left it too late to change the health of my pelvic floor but have seen improvements after just a few sessions. Will continue as it’s super easy and the games are fun and it’s only 8 minutes of my life!! Glad I found this device!

Really great idea

I absolutely love this because I’ve never been able to remember to do
Pelvic floor exercise exercises
This makes it fun.

The only issue is that the calibration doesn’t always seem to be quite right so that can be frustrating however great idea

A very promising start

I have been using the Perifit for 3 weeks now and already seeing some improvement in my bladder control. Exited to see what the next couple of months will achieve. Sometimes disappointed when I think I’ve done really well and the reading gives me a low percent. I now believe this is when I’m using my stomach muscles instead of my pelvic floor. Everyday is a learning day ☺️

Very impressed so far!

I had previously bought the elvie (a few years ago) and I gave up with it due to it moving and not showing consistent performance, so I was really sceptical with this but I needed to figure out a way to consistently work on my pelvic floor so I decided to give it a shot and I’m so glad I did. The device itself is easy to insert and does seem to stay in place much easier, although whoever thought of the little plastic tag on the tail to ensure it’s located correctly is a genius because it works fantastically. The games are varied and fun and I actually really enjoy completing the session, and the other information in the app is really useful too. I’ve been using it for a few weeks along with some other medical solutions so I’m not really sure how effective it’s been as of yet but I’m a lot more confident that I’ll be able to keep using it consistently and I can definitely tell when I’ve done a workout so I’m pretty hopeful at this point. Would definitely recommend!

OK so far

I have only recently started using my Perifit so have only completed one week of training. So far, all seems OK. I have found inserting the Perifit surprisingly easily, using just water to lubricate as I am allergic to all other lubricants I have tried in the past. Calibration is very easy and the games are simple but quite fun.
I already had a little experience with this sort of exerciser, having had some physiotherapy sessions, using a probe, a year or so ago, so I sort of knew what was expected of me. Having said that, and had I not had the prior knowledge, I do feel that the instructions on how to use the games are very basic and could be difficult to figure out. For example, I was “rewarded” with a new game which had a slightly different view i.e. all the others had been “flat” side on images, whereas this one was more 3D and, instead of working from left to right, i was having to navigate towards the targets which were ahead of, in this case, a plane. It took me quite a while to work out what was going on and the simple “squeeze” and “relax” instruction wasn’t really enough.
I am not a computer gamer at all so these things are not second nature to me. I was also unsure how to actually access my new game. I found it but don’t, as yet, know if it will be added to the daily workout routine and, if not, how to achieve that.
I was also somewhat alarmed to find that a new game that had “dual” in the title apparently involved actually competing against another person! That really gave me the creeps and is definitely not for me. Hope there won’t be many more like that!
These are all only relatively minor snags though. All in all, I find that having games to play is really useful in helping me to make sure I get on and do the exercises - something that just lapsed a while after my physio sessions as I had no idea whether I was doing the exercises correctly or not and it was also rather boring. With my Perifit, I find that I am actually looking forward to doing them!
I would just like to add that I am in my 60s and am experiencing some of the issues that come with age and having had 3 children, two of them at the same time. 30 odd years ago, there was no help other than being told “you really need to do some pelvic floor exercises”. That was it. No instruction, nothing. I understand, from my daughters in law, that not much has changed since.
I now live in France and here every woman is entitled to 10 free physio sessions, for pelvic floor training, after childbirth. Perifit should be available to all women who need them, be they young or old, on the NHS!
I am looking forward to continue with my Perifit and hope to see a great improvement in my pelvic floor strength.

Amazing

O was dubious about this working. It does!! It's amazing. Even better it doesn't need charging as lasts for 5 years so no need to bother remembering to charge it. Worth every penny.

Kegels have never been so much fun!

Having been very sporadic doing my kegel exercises over the years, and never really being sure if I was doing them correctly anyway, I found myself worrying more and more about finding myself unable to hold on when needing the loo.

I saw an advert for this and was immediately interested: the idea of using kegels to play computer games just made me laugh! I now look forward to doing my exercises every evening and can already feel the benefits.

Great tool, possibly a bit inaccurate

It’s great to have a tool to practice my pelvic floor, and to be reminded of it. Apparently my technique is rubbish though, and I’m starting to feel that is the sensor, rather than me. It’s very sensitive to your sitting position.

So much fun!

I'm loving the games and the progress data. The combination is keeping me motivated, which is not easy to do.
The device is comfortable to use and super easy to clean.
Can't fault it.
